Online counselling and remote therapy is available to clients in the UK and internationally.
What is Online Counselling?
Remote, online counselling and FaceTime® or Skype™ therapy sessions are a flexible and convenient way to receive regular support, psychological coaching or therapy in a place and time that suits you. It is an alternative that has become increasingly popular over the recent years.
There may be a number of reasons why there is a preference for online therapy over meeting in person. Obviously the global pandemic from 2020 really shifted a mindset and many more people came to realise that therapy can be just as effective remotely. Not only effective but there are many benefits to engaging in therapy from home. Safety, comfort, convenience being just a few...
Online therapy is well suited for specific therapies and psychological coaching such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy DBT, Mindfulness and more… Trauma therapy and EMDR therapy can also be done just as effectively online as it is in person.
How does Remote Therapy work?
Remote counselling works pretty much the same way as traditional face-to-face therapy, just over the phone, Skype, FaceTime, Zoom, Google Hangout, phone or other online communication tools. You just need a good and stable connection. If you are interested in arranging online therapy sessions please get in touch to have an initial discussion about your concerning issues or aims or simply to arrange a suitable time and date. The sessions typically last around 60 minutes and can be arranged as a course of ongoing therapy, or as an occasional session to compliment regular in person meetings. Sessions are payable prior to the meetings.
